Chemcut manufactures resist stripping systems for photo-imageable resists, screen printed resists and metal etch resists. The photo-imageable resist stripping systems can be used with all of the common aqueous based dry film photoresists used in the
printed circuit board and
chemical milling industries. In addition, these stripping machines can also be used with aqueous based liquid photo-imageable (LPI) etching and plating resists as well as aqueous strippable screen ink resists.
Chemcut strippers can be integrated with Chemcut’s
resist filter. When the resist filter is incorporated into a stripping system, stripping solution life can be greatly extended and collection of stripped resist particles can be automated. These two benefits greatly reduce the daily operating costs as well as reduce the down time for solution changeover and maintenance in the stripping process.
Stripping systems are also available from Chemcut for metal resists. Because of ROHS, the most common metal resist strippers are manufactured to remove tin but solder stripping equipment is still available. When necessary, metal resist stripping systems can be built with alternative materials and components to be compatible with specialized chemical solutions such as ammonium bifluoride.
Both the photo-imageable resist strippers and the metal resist stripping machines are available from Chemcut with automated chemistry management systems. These automatic systems improve product quality by insuring a constant level of chemical activity as well as reducing the labor necessary to monitor and control the stripping bath.
