CHEMCUT ADDS ATLAN DYESS TO N. AMERICAN SALES TEAM

State College, PA – Chemcut Corporation is pleased to announce that one of its representative sales organizations, Atlan Dyess, Inc., has expanded its service area to include the entire state of Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. The change was effective September 1, 2006. Atlan Dyess, based in Forth Worth, TX, has been representing Chemcut products since 2001 in the South-Central U.S., including the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri, and Arkansas. The firm will also continue to represent Chemcut throughout a large portion of Mexico. Julie Taylor, Regional Sales & Marketing Manager for Atlan Dyess? northern region, will continue to lead Atlan Dyess’ Chemcut sales efforts in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas, and also gains the new territory in Illinois and Wisconsin. Atlan Dyess General Manager Doug McBride remains the Chemcut representative in Texas and Louisiana.

Atlan Industries began serving printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturers in Texas in 1973, and Dyess Company was founded in 1956 as a supplier to the industrial manufacturing industry. Branching out into electronics assembly in 1990, Dyess Company moved into the PCB market in 1994. In October 2002, the two companies merged to form Atlan Dyess and now serves all of these industries. The company maintains 25,000 square feet of office and warehouse space in Fort Worth, in addition to other facilities throughout its service area.
Chemcut Corporation, founded in 1957, was the original developer of spray etching, a technique that made the chemical etching process practical for volume, as well as prototype production, and has made chemical etching an effective metalworking tool.
